About Us


Mussio Associates works in the field of K-12 education. Its principal, Jerry Mussio, has over 30 years of professional experience in developing strategic plans, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and implementing large-scale projects in complex environments.

We have successfully completed a series of local and international projects over 15 years, often partnering with other consultants.


Before forming Mussio Associates, Jerry was a senior manager with the British Columbia Ministry of Education where he served as director in a number of key departments, including: education policy and planning, curriculum design and implementation, student assessment and examinations, and field services and school accreditation. He then moved to Statistics Canada where he worked as an education specialist. Between 2000 and 2004, Jerry served as Canada's representative in the development of the OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).

 

Jerry is a native of Trail, British Columbia and began his career as a classroom teacher and university lecturer. He holds a Ph.D. in educational measurement from the University of Toronto. He can be contacted at jerrymussio@icloud.com
